Hello, my name is Jeremy. I started Friendly Plumbing in 2024 as a community focused small business. Over the many years I've been plumbing, I've seen that most companies really only care about maximizing profit, upselling, and charging as much as possible to their customers, only thinking about the money. When I started Friendly Plumbing, my goal has always been to be the most fair, honest, and reliable company in San Francisco. And my reason for this, has always been about supporting the community.
You may ask, what do I mean by Friendly Plumbing being a community focused business? It sort of sounds like nonsense right? How can a plumbing business say that they're trying to support the community?
Well, before I get into that, there's a theory called the six degrees of separation, which simply states that any two random people on Earth are actually connected to each other within six mutual connections.
This theory has mostly been proven false, but as someone who was born, raised, and still resides in San Francisco, I strongly believe that every single person in this small yet dense city are all connected by only two degrees of separation, or just one or two mutual acquaintances. I'm sure you all have had the same experience as me, where you meet someone for the first time, and it turns out that they're actually friends of a friend, know someone that you went to school with, have worked with, or just have any other random connection that brings you together.
By having this belief, I can't operate my business like how these other companies do, who only care about the money. I would never take advantage of any of my customers. After all, every person that I meet is just another friend of a friend, and someone that I see on a daily basis, whether that's on the street, at the mall, in a restaurant, or possibly even when I take my kids to school.
My business model isn't to charge as much as I can, but to be honest, reliable, and offer fair pricing on every job I do. By doing this, my goal is to build and offer a needed service to the community, have customers that can trust me, and won't hesitate to call me again or even refer me to their friends and neighbors. I'm thankful for every single one of my customers, because without you guys, I wouldn't even have a job!
I am also thankful for all the people who have left Yelp and Google reviews for Friendly Plumbing, as well as being voted a Neighborhood Favorite business on Nextdoor!
